I know pronounce you...

Two years ago today, I married B. The most charming, respectful, fulfilling man I have ever met. Not only was it the perfect day (70 and sunny!), we were surrounded by the best people, at the prettiest wedding I have ever seen (I am partial). Not many words can describe the feelings we both had that day, so I leave you with pictures that capture the moments perfectly- and a few quotes from our vows.

"This is not the first cycle of your lives together. This marriage does not

start something new as much as it brings a new season to your lives

together. Just as spring is a time of beginnings, summer a time of

growth, this marriage represents a time of harvest, maturity, and

abiding respect. Past successes, failures, disappointments and joys

simply nourish this harvest, providing a rich and stable place

from which to grow together as the cycle of life continues."

"Life is a story. It has a beginning, a middle and an end. It is a journey

that winds and twists into some of the most unimaginable places.

Like any good story, good journey, it is best experienced with the

people you love. Everyone in this gathering is here because they are

part of your story, part of your journey."

"Love is the process of making something

beautiful, and real, where once there was nothing at all."

" Brian, my love,

You have already given me

The two greatest gifts of my life;

Your love

And our beautiful child, Teagan.

Today it is my honor

To become your wife.

I promise to continue

Building our family together,

Celebrating our joy,

Comforting one another in hard times,

And strengthening our family’s future.

I vow to love and cherish you

For all the days of my life."

Thank you, B, for all the joy, peace, and happiness you have brought to my life. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without you by my side.
